Meet Dr. Jabbour
Dr. Samir Jabbour comes here from Canada as a board-certified ophthalmologist and fellowship-trained corneal and refractive surgeon. He completed fellowships at the Wilmer Eye Institute of Johns Hopkins and Moorfields Eye Hospital in London. Dr. Jabbour holds a Masters in Public Health from Harvard, reflecting his interest in improving eye health for the greater world community. Dr. Jabbour’s innovative contributions span surgical techniques, policy advocacy and research in corneal transplantation, refractive surgery and limbal stem cell deficiency.
Alongside this amazing clinical work, Dr. Jabbour held academic appointments at McGill and the University of Montreal, where he served as director of the corneal fellowship and research fellowship. Internationally recognized for his academic and surgical contributions, Dr. Jabbour has published over 40 peer reviewed articles and is a frequent speaker, invited guest surgeon, and surgical instructor at global ophthalmology meetings.
